Kelsey Sanders Kellum, PT, DPT, CBIST, AVPT

Kelsey is a Colorado native, born and raised, and brings a deep commitment to high-level vertigo, dizziness, and brain injury treatment to rural communities. She has over eight years of experience treating complex vestibular conditions, brain injuries, and concussions and is the only residency-trained Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist and Advanced Brain Injury Specialist in Chaffee County! Her clinical approach emphasizes individualized care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and whole-body problem solving for patients with complex diagnoses.

Prior to joining Body Mechanics Physical Therapy, Kelsey worked at Aspen Valley Hospital, where she served as the hospital’s Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist and was an integral member of the Brain Injury Clinic. During her time there, she treated patients across the lifespan with vestibular disorders, concussions, traumatic brain injuries, neurologic conditions, and complex balance disorders, while collaborating closely with neurologists, neuro-otologists, ENT providers, and rehabilitation specialists throughout the state. In 2024, she was voted Best Physical Therapist in the Roaring Fork Valley, reflecting both her clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centered care.

Outside of the clinic, Kelsey enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband and their dogs. An avid hiker, she is close to completing her goal of summiting all of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks, a reflection of her passion for movement, resilience, and life in the outdoors.
